Status Description: Progress: 22.94 %
- Request for procurement of Vitamin A.
- Vitamin A & Deworming distributed to all health facilities for the 1st round of this year.
- Growth monitoring equipments was received conducted in 1st March 2011.
- 3.2.1 New Born Care training proposal sent to UNICEF on 24th May 2011.
- 3.1.1 to develop a BCC strategy/campaign Two parties sent the proposal Evaluation done by CCHDC and sent to UNICEF.
- 2.2.6 Training conducted on 29th- 31st May (GDh and GA atoll) and on 5th-7th May (Meemu, Faafu and Dhaal) and Final Statement.
- 3.2.3 Maintenance of high coverage on immunization and safe healthcare practices. Proposal and TOR shared with UNICEF. GC sticker layout designing and printing ( outsourced) Meeting with interested parties conducted and information provided.
- 3.1.1Technical assistance to develop a BCC strategy/campaign on maternal and child nutrition is ongoing.
- Activity 3.2.1 reprogrammed to planned to conduct 2012.
- Activity 2.2.1 Cabinet paper has been send to PPD to finalize a decision regarding the revision/ maintenance of the ONCHS system.
- Activity 3.2.2 Vaccine schedule has been evalauated & the task assigned to a private company.
Summary Objective:
- Target groups have equitable access to preventive and essential healthcare services and nutrition.
- Children, youth and women have equitable access to nutrition and related health services.
- Enhanced equitable access of men, women and young people to reproductive health services.
- By 2015, families enjoy quality health care and practice improved nutririon, hygiene behaviours & are aware of the effects of drug abuse and HIV.
